West Nyack is a hamlet located in the town of Clarkstown in Rockland County, New York. It is located about 30 miles away from New York City.
West Nyack is home to the Palisades Center, the 12th largest mall in the United States and the second largest in the tri-state area. The four story center includes over 400 stores, Imax/Loews movie theaters, Ice Rink, and dozens of diverse restaurants and places to eat and be entertained.
West Nyack has a population of more than 3,000 residents. The hamlet has a total land area of 2.9 square miles. The village is located at an elevation of about 90 feet above sea level.
West Nyack is home to Clarkstown High School South, one of two high schools in the Clarkstown Central School District. West Nyack is also home to the Manhattan Woods Golf Club.
